A six-story, sixty-unit ground-up mixed-use building on Coney Island Avenue, combining ground-floor commercial space with five floors of residential above.
The site required environmental remediation before vertical construction could begin, which had to be sequenced ahead of foundation work without putting pressure on the overall delivery schedule. Above grade, the project carried the standard challenges of urban infill development: a constrained footprint, tight site logistics during foundation and erection, and continuous coordination with adjacent neighbors.
Promont served as general contractor and delivered the project ahead of schedule and under budget. The building entered service as a mixed-use rental and remains in operation today.
