Spearheaded by a team with deep experience across development and construction, Promont empowers developers by driving projects with excellence in strategic foresight.
As founder of Promont, Marty Waisbrod has shaped many high-end residential, commercial, and institutional projects across the Tri-State Area, earning a reputation for precision, continuity, and excellence. His unique perspective combines the insight of a developer with the hands-on experience of a General Contractor (GC) and Construction Manager (CM), allowing him to guide projects seamlessly from conception through completion.
Marty’s career began in 1997 as a property manager in Queens, NY, overseeing a 1,600-unit residential portfolio and helping orchestrate a landmark sale to a REIT. Those early experiences reinforced the importance of operational rigor, strategic thinking, and attention to detail; principles that continue to drive his work today. Over the years, he has led a diverse portfolio of developments, from ground-up residential and hotel projects to shopping centers and institutional facilities, collaborating with major national retailers including TD Bank, Michaels, Petco, Pier 1, Retro Fitness, and Blink Fitness. His approach blends technical expertise, design sensibility, and business acumen, consistently delivering projects that exceed both aesthetic and functional expectations.
Beyond business, Marty has devoted decades to community service. A volunteer paramedic in both New York and New Jersey since 1997, he is actively engaged in religious and social initiatives and serves on the board of Maimonides Medical Center. As chair of the Physical Facilities and Planning Committee, he has overseen more than $200 million in hospital construction projects, from advanced emergency departments to state-of-the-art neonatal and cardiac care units.
Marty Waisbrod continues to lead with a commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and community impact, shaping the future of development and infrastructure with every project he undertakes.
